ELIXIR

Building a sustainable European infrastructure for biological information, supporting life science research and its translation to medicine, agriculture, bioindustries and society.

ELIXIR unites Europe’s leading life science organisations in managing and safeguarding the massive amounts of data being generated every day by publicly funded research. It is a pan-European research infrastructure for biological information.

ELIXIR will provide the facilities necessary for life science researchers - from bench biologists to cheminformaticians - to make the most of our rapidly growing store of information about living systems, which is the foundation on which our understanding of life is built.

Meet the EMBRIC bioinformatics consultants at the EuroMarine General Assembly

Do you have marine data, metadata and/or samples with a biomolecular focus? Would you like to access the resources of ELIXIR for the management, analysis and interpretation of your data? Would you like to ensure your data is sustainable beyond the life of the project? Or would you simply like to know how to use available data resources more widely?

Practical definition of strain and chemical data requirements for EMBRIC

A workshop for the EMBRIC community to use ELIXIR data resources to manage and search WP 6 and 7 strain data and derived chemical data (especially through the MetaboLights system) is organized with presentations from Elixir chemical resources and use cases to define practical requirements.

Please note that the deadline for registration has been extended to February 20th.
